Sanford M. Ratner, MD, FACP, FCCP

 

Dr. Sanford M. Ratner is a founding member of North Shore Medical Arts, LLP specializing in Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Internal Medicine.

Dr. Ratner received his BA degree with honors from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA. He completed his medical degree at the State University of New York Downstate Campus (S.U.N.Y. Brooklyn) in 1988.

Following three years of Residency Training in Internal Medicine at the Bronx Municipal Hospital Center (Jacobi Medical Center), Dr. Ratner became a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine, receiving his board certification in Internal Medicine in 1991.

After his residency training, Dr. Ratner completed a two year fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He served as the Chief Pulmonary Fellow during his second year. Dr. Ratner subsequently completed a one year Critical Care Fellowship at the Montifiore Medical Center, Bronx, New York. He is board certified in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Chest Physicians.

Dr. Ratner currently maintains privileges at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn, NY, North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY, and Long Island Jewish Hospital in New Hyde Park, NY.
